The gardener gone A.W.O.L. was me of course, but for good reasons I assure you! No doubt you are familiar with the saying "make hay while the sun shines." Well...the sun has been shining in our Tennessee home garden. The past couple days I have been busy in the yard trying to turn this place into a fantastic garden this spring. I'm off to a good start but I have a long way to go.
My A.W.O.L. status brings to mind a question for all those other bloggers out there. When you are actively gardening will your blogging suffer? Will you have enough time to get to your computer to type out a post after you have been outside working in the garden? Will your blogging abilities be inversely proportional to your gardening activity or will it increase exponentially as new subject material becomes available? It's a question I've been pondering since spring will be an extremely busy time. I'm hoping for the later situation myself. Over the last couple days I've done quite a few things I could talk about, but unfortunately I just haven't had the time to write them down. The posts will be coming though. Starting tomorrow! For now I'll wet your gardening appetite with these subjects to be talked about very soon:
Finishing the Raised Bed Vegetable Garden
Installing and planting a new bed
Adventures on a mower
The Last and Latest Daffodils of the Year
Getting my Seed Preparation Stations ready
Stone and Rock in the landscape
Beginning the Rain Garden Planting
The Wedding Plan
There could (and probably will) be more!
As a side note, there have been a few blogger issues lately and the feed seems to be a little strange. One post from a week ago was sent out yesterday. I'm not sure what is happening but I'm investigating to get it fixed. Blogger was down and nearly out on Saturday and since then things have been a bit off. If you are having problems getting the feed via email please let me know!
